The miracle of a mother's love
After the earthquake, Jinyu Long lost contact with her son, Yuhang Jiang. Jinyu and her husband traveled from Guizhou to Chengdu in search of their son. Because the road had been damaged, they couldn't go any further. However, as a mother, "couldn't" really wasn't an option. Jinyu hitchhiked the rest of the way to the disaster zone, the town of Yingxiu.
Jinyu was standing in front of the rubble where a hotel used to stand. Someone confirmed that her son was buried underneath. She wiped off her tears and told herself, "I need to be strong for my baby boy. I need to see him one last time so he can rest in peace."
When the road was finally repaired, people started leaving the town. But not Jinyu. She stayed with the rescue workers and then, miracle happened. Rescue workers heard someone in the rubble. Jinyu cried out her son's name and he answered! After spending 124 hours in the rubble, Yuhang was rescued from the rubble and into his mother's arms.
