International volunteers at the epicenter

May 14th, an anonymous doctor from US (left) was attending a wounded woman on an ambulance. In the area of Beichuan, which was among the hardest hit areas, there were 16 foreign volunteers helping out the rescue that day.

May 14th. Kelsey and Yongshi Mu[1] from the US were helping local doctors to care after the wounded. Immediately after the earthquake, several US citizens working or studying in the Sichuan area teamed up to transport medical supplies to Beichuan county, and volunteered in the rescue work.

May 14th. Bai'An Sun, a medical doctor from the United States, was attending a seriously wounded man.

May 14th. Aide Guo, a student from US, is helping out with the rescue.

May 14th. Yongshi Mu was transporting the wounded in Beichuan.

May 14th. Michael Poore of Canada was donating blood. He works at a company in Nanjing, China.

May 14th. Chinese premier, Wen Jiabao, was saying thank-you to US volunteers at the Qushan township, Beichuan County.
